Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chamaicó's Gerardo Abeitia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Abeitia in the 10th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of play forced Chamaicó's goalkeeper Leonel Cefero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Llorian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers. Dalmacio Llorian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Cefero having to interfere. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Abeitia got free with Arnout Reekers in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Dalmacio Llorian made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Santiago Tamargo charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Tamargo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes Chamaicó's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonel Cefero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Leonel Cefero made a huge save. Chamaicó's Leonel Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Cefero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 72 played minutes Chamaicó got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Tamargo. Leonel Cefero came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Llorian in the 75th minute of the match. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Chamaicó booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Leonel Cefero made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonel Cefero. Leonel Cefero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Chamaicó's zone, Lars Meesters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Cefero came out of the goal and Lars Meesters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
