Levi von Herren's late challenge caught a Bermejo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Uchiha in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Jacinto Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Maurer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot by Timo Siegmund from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Aaron Lapurdi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
