Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stelian Joldea got the match started through his kick off. Stelian Joldea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Piwko having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Tomasz Piwko. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Stelian Joldea in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to KS Piastów Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Reşat Rasif hit a great ball. Tomasz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in KS Piastów Sosnowiec's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Piwko came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Stelian Joldea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Kajfasz. After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KS Piastów Sosnowiec booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaaf Groeneveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Lars Meesters made a precise shot to the right of Tomasz Piwko. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 64 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Piwko having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Zgonina in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute KS Piastów Sosnowiec were awarded a corner. Apolo Beltza went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Apolo Beltza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tytus Kajfasz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Tomasz Piwko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reşat Rasif in the 79th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Reşat Rasif came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. In the 95th minute, Mariusz Zgonina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
