Lancelot Cambero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Lancelot Cambero in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 59th minute of play. Itacaruaré made a substitution. Samuel Zumiza replaced Victor Qwinton. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Lancelot Cambero made a huge save. After 85 played minutes Itacaruaré got a freekick which was hit by 傅明轩. With a little luck, Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line.
