The supporters of Denmark booed when Fc Malá Lula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seb Holdsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seb Holdsworth kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. John-Paul Watkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Gilson Neves made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. 21 minutes into the match, Fc Malá Lula's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but John-Paul Watkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. John-Paul Watkinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Intxixu in the 26th minute of the match. Fc Malá Lula's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Intxixu in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Alfredo Intxixu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen. Alfredo Intxixu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Paul Watkinson having to interfere. Kenn Skou's late challenge caught a Fc Malá Lula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenn Skou helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fc Malá Lula booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. John-Paul Watkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Olav Graversen. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ged Mayfield made the kick off in the second half. Chris Nygaard took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John-Paul Watkinson. John-Paul Watkinson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rufus Heath's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rufus Heath helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fc Malá Lula's Rufus Heath got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ged Mayfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Malá Lula's supporters rose to their feet, but Ged Mayfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John-Paul Watkinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John-Paul Watkinson, 1-3. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredo Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Alfredo Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ged Mayfield in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Malá Lula's goalkeeper John-Paul Watkinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chris Nygaard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, John-Paul Watkinson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ged Mayfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Fc Malá Lula's John-Paul Watkinson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Bjarne Kirkegaard threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Malá Lula's Alfredo Intxixu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 91 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Ged Mayfield came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark played a much better game than Fc Malá Lula and deserved their victory. The Fc Malá Lula players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
