Czech Republic's Erik Jilek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lukáč Jančich in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bohumir Kohout hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes, Stano Pištek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Lula and the Czech Republic players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Atletico Lula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stano Pištek didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Žigmund Kaminský in the 29th minute of play was well struck, but Vavrinec Holub made a really good save at the right post. After taking down the ball on Czech Republic's corner Erik Jilek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lukáč Jančich quite easily take care of the ball. Denis Dostal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Atletico Lula's Vavrinec Holub threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stano Pištek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atletico Lula's Lukáč Jančich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Jilek in the 37th minute of play. Czech Republic's Denis Dostal got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Mateo Mergildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dalimil Charvat made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atletico Lula's Žigmund Kaminský. A collision led to Atletico Lula getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Stano Pištek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Lula's Žigmund Kaminský got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Erik Jilek made the kick off in the second half. When Alan Rezek came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Rezek couldn't finish the play. If Mateo Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Jilek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Lukáč Jančich made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Svatopluk Capek got a free kick in the 75th minute. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Petreje in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Lula's goalkeeper Lukáč Jančich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
