Casper Claes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 余义桑 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Anastasio Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 15th minute of play forced 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's goalkeeper Anastasio Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Ponce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgium's Sander Dermaut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anastasio Ponce in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 余义桑 in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasio Ponce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. Anastasio Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anastasio Ponce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when 柯辉崇 made the kick off in the second half. 尤升兴's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 尤升兴 helped the player get up and apologised. 尤升兴 hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Anastasio Ponce came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's goalkeeper Anastasio Ponce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, 庞奕桦 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. After 64 minutes 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Belgium's Siebe Michiels to fire away a dangerous shot which Anastasio Ponce despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Yves Dervaux's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Anastasio Ponce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anastasio Ponce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 71st minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 余义桑 in the 75th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. With a little luck, 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's Anastasio Ponce got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match, Edward Vanderstraeten tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasio Ponce saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Belgium's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
