When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Bringtoft made a kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubat Aydınoğlu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Giresun United F.K ©'s Sercan Ekinoğlu got a free kick in the 60th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Kubat Aydınoğlu threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gijsbert ter Kruimer this time.
