Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Antonio Pizzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tino Abeijon sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute of the match, Tino Abeijon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Abajas in the 32nd minute of play. Juan Antonio Pizzi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tino Abeijon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. A collision led to Sportivo Chupeño getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rito Abel hit a great ball. Chinto Espinoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. When Zacarias Abajas came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sportivo Chupeño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Abajas couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck.

Sportivo Chupeño's Francis Stuart got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Chupeño's Rito Abel got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chinto Espinoza having to interfere. The supporters of Sportivo Chupeño booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Juan Antonio Pizzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Juan Antonio Pizzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Zacarias Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Chupeño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Tino Abeijon made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tino Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chinto Espinoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Juan Antonio Pizzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Tino Abeijon made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 96 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Antonio Pizzi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportivo Chupeño's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
