Real Brasil F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. A collision led to Real Brasil F.C. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Zé Paulo de Azevedo hit a great ball. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel Rosado was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Brasil F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 17 minutes into the match, Real Brasil F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Paulinho Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simão da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simão da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Hélio Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brasil F.C. and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Hélio Arósio got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Zé Paulo de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Brasil F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Alves in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Real Brasil F.C. booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bendtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Hélio Arósio from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Keld Paulsen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 38th minute, Simão da Silveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Brasil F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes, Olav Graversen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the Real Brasil F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute Umberto Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Simão da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 67th minute of the match Simão da Silveira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Simão da Silveira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Real Brasil F.C.'s Paulinho Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Real Brasil F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Denmark booed when Real Brasil F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Real Brasil F.C. defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulinho Veloso. The Real Brasil F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulinho Veloso should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ludvigsen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 80th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulinho Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Umberto Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
