Cheng Guo Rong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Rasvan Cristescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheng Guo Rong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adam Olaru who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Adam Olaru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cheng Guo Rong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Costica Vladimiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cheng Guo Rong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheng Guo Rong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 21st minute of play. Cheng Guo Rong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 22nd minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Adam Olaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cheng Guo Rong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Lv Yan Xiang was substituted for Xelo Trilla. In the 28th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng Guo Rong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Olaru came free, but Cheng Guo Rong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alex Serban came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Romania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Serban couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Olaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
