Venancio Cesario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Yofré AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Poncio to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Yofré AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Venancio Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Yofré AFC's Mateo Messi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Poncio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 86th minute, Mateo Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Ascaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. Carles Cherro came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Venancio Cesario could save by the left post. Spain played a much better game than Yofré AFC and deserved their victory. The Yofré AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
