Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingmar Wiman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Wiman in the 8th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 11th minute. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson did a great save. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nickolai Skivild in the 13th minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Wiman in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes, Deportivo Empate's Justo Mano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fodor Daniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Empate reached it. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Wiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Deportivo Empate's attentive Justo Mano managed to snatch the ball when Antal Valentin made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Deportivo Empate's Nickolai Skivild fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nickolai Skivild, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nickolai Skivild in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Beniamin Bendyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Empate's Stefano Abaunza was substituted for Silvestre Salvado. Antal Valentin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Kristoffer Martinsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Wiman in the 70th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Empate from getting a goal against them. Ingmar Wiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Deportivo Empate support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
