When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Vicemte Abancens put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. 10 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chuquisaca's Fabrizio Catapano. Fabrizio Catapano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrizio Catapano. Chuquisaca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Werner Colvin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rd minute, Werner Colvin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chuquisaca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 27 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Fabrizio Catapano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabrizio Catapano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Werner Colvin in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chuquisaca's España Barajas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which David Eikelkamp managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Werner Colvin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Fabrizio Catapano made a huge save. Fabrizio Catapano made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when David Eikelkamp sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Chuquisaca getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fraco Abel hit a great ball. Cyprian Soroka got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cyprian Soroka hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Chuquisaca's Xurdin Abello was substituted for Vicemte Abancens. A collision led to Chuquisaca getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cyprian Soroka hit a great ball. When Netherlands's Lars Meesters in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Werner Colvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
