Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off. Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Avram Popoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Popoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Avram Popoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifaco Montoya made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Vladimir Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. Zaccheo Andolina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avram Popoiu having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Zaccheo Andolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Avram Popoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Damasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Avram Popoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Couto came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
