Germany's attentive Linus Schwerner managed to snatch the ball when Jonas Firmo made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. A collision led to Sinbosteros getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jonas Firmo hit a great ball. After 23 minutes of play, Germany's Albin Holweck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Tab was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the game, Germany's Albin Holweck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Tab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Ospetsu in the 28th minute. After 32 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. If Ramiro Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Eloy Laffitte sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Germany were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Ospetsu made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Eloy Laffitte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Eloy Laffitte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the game, Jonas Firmo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Linus Schwerner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eloy Laffitte scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sinbosteros the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Laffitte in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Tab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sinbosteros made a substitution. Hector Urko replaced Vicente Eyague. When Sven Krakouer fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Sven Krakouer a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. 74 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sinbosteros the free kick. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Hector Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinbosteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Urko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Eloy Laffitte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Maximiliano Tab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Sinbosteros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. The goalkeeper, Maximiliano Tab, was totally fooled by Germany's Frank Sachs, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 88th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Enaut in the 94th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Carlos Ospetsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Ospetsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Germany succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sinbosteros had controlled the match.
