In the 27th minute David Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Enrique Rabellino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Jonathan Criado in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mukifus FSCMZ's Woody Vaquero. Thiago Hudson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mukifus FSCMZ's zone, Omar Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Neiva came out of the goal and Omar Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rômulo Neiva came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Omar Toledo. But to his dismay, Omar Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Mukifus FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 53 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Criado. When the match was over Spain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mukifus FSCMZ throughout the match.
