In the 28th match minute, Só de Fula F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Custódio to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Francisco Loyola. Só de Fula F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 42 in the game by Clemente Queirós from a close distance when the talented Keld Paulsen managed to make a qualified save. Denmark's players were relieved. Leonardo Barreto hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Clemente Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Loyola having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Bertram Svenningsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Francisco Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Só de Fula F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Loyola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bertram Svenningsen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 66 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 69th minute of play forced Só de Fula F.C.'s goalkeeper João Francisco Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonardo Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Só de Fula F.C.'s protests and gave Leonardo Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Svenningsen. 75 minutes into the match, Só de Fula F.C.'s goalkeeper João Francisco Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bertram Svenningsen. The corner ended in Willian de Moraes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen did a great save. In the 82nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Lucas in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Só de Fula F.C. booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Francisco Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Carlos Augusto Vander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Só de Fula F.C. booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ludvigsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Willian de Moraes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Augusto Vander made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Leonardo Barreto immediately put the ball in play. Denmark were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
