Adriano Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 7th minute of play. Cássio Velasco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cássio Velasco had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Germany's attentive Linus Schwerner managed to snatch the ball when Nicholas Dalen made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Eliézer Bueno succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 34th playminute. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Velasco in the 37th minute. When Sven Krakouer fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Sven Krakouer a yellow card for diving instead. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Mota in the 40th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Luisão Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The corner led Germany's Adrian Dreifuss to fire away a dangerous shot which Adriano Penha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 46th minute, Glauco Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adriano Penha. Jumentus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Luisão Mota made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jumentus's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Penha came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Corrêa came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Corrêa scored 5-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Adriano Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 72 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Luisão Mota, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 81st minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Jumentus made a substitution. Wambasther Ferdinand replaced Glauco Faria. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cássio Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Nicholas Dalen hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jumentus walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
