Tommy Kahn had great luck who in the 3rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Di Yuan Liang from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Di Yuan Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Germany booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilson Arósio having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Yağız Davutoğlu got a free kick in the 26th minute. The Germany fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Germany's Frank Sachs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Frank Sachs scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilson Arósio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germany's Adrian Dreifuss quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yağız Davutoğlu, made in the 37th minute of the game. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yağız Davutoğlu, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 42nd minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilson Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 59th minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Gilson Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience held their breath when Yağız Davutoğlu in the 61st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tommy Kahn's left hand side. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Di Yuan Liang. But to his dismay, Di Yuan Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, Pombal 2003 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağız Davutoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Lago scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilson Arósio. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Rafael Meirelles in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Gilson Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. The Germany supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Germany would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
