In the 8th minute, Murdock Sinden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Gilson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gilson Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hungary's Takacs Tibor in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Hungary's Balazs Lajos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 35th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilson Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilson Arósio. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gilson Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 42nd minute of the match. Rafael Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Di Yuan Liang to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Di Yuan Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Gilson Arósio. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 70th minute. It was a well-played corner which Antal Valentin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After having played for 74 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauã Lago in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gilson Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Antal Valentin took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Gilson Arósio to make any attempt to save it. In the 85th minute, Hungary's Major Barna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilson Arósio. Gilson Arósio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. When Rafael Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pombal 2003 F.C.'s protests and gave Rafael Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute of the match, Major Barna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilson Arósio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yağız Davutoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fodor Daniel. Hungary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pombal 2003 F.C..
