Ilija Skugor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lun Luna's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Lun Luna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lun Luna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toni Mauzer during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Barbosa in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Lun Luna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ilija Skugor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Howling Dawn U18's Mercurio Mercurio got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toni Mauzer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When Lun Luna came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lun Luna couldn't finish the play. Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Astor Barbosa notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Lun Luna could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Ilija Skugor however easily saved by the left post. After 71 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Silvije Santek. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Silvije Santek got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Jerrald. Teofilo Oriol kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Howling Dawn U18's Mars Marte was substituted for Tobias Sol. Teofilo Oriol hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Egoitz. In the 85th play minute Mercurio Mercurio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ilija Skugor. 0-7. Howling Dawn U18's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
