Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ferid Songur started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Ferid Songur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Hafiz Birsel made a great header on Galatasaray's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Ahmet Göktuğ Eker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fodor Daniel came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Göktuğ Eker slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ferid Songur sent off a good shot on target. İbrahim Efe Paye came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ferid Songur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Ferid Songurs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İbrahim Efe Paye. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Hungary booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayfur Başeskioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Abuzer Behzat kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with İbrahim Efe Paye in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galatasaray's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. İbrahim Efe Paye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Ferid Songur came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Seyhan Öktemer who took care of the corner kick. Seyhan Öktemer made a great header on Galatasaray's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. İbrahim Efe Paye made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hungary booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayfur Başeskioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Hungary's Major Barna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind İbrahim Efe Paye. İbrahim Efe Paye yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. İbrahim Efe Paye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyhan Öktemer in the 74th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hungary booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Çağrı Ezgü didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şakir Akbey in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Göktuğ Eker came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Çağrı Ezgü to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 82 in the game by Major Barna from a close distance when the talented İbrahim Efe Paye managed to make a qualified save. Galatasaray's players were relieved. Major Barna had several of the Galatasaray's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed İbrahim Efe Paye as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 86th minute Ahmet Göktuğ Eker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galatasaray's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Major Barna scored to the left of an out of position İbrahim Efe Paye, making the score, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galatasaray.
