They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson de Amaral to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Jailson de Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Khalid Kennedy to make any attempt to save it. When Válter Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuera Never End MZC's protests and gave Válter Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. Válter Figueiredo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Santo Everton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caelan Hayes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
