Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Godfredo Nuñez started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Facundo Gay during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Facundo Gay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, Godfredo Nuñez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Godfredo Nuñez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Serafin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 17th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Nuñez in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Bernal came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Godfredo Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Nuñez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Daniel Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Harry Winter made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 56th minute of play forced C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Portugal booed when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Winter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Serafin Bernal got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez. But to his dismay, Godfredo Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Wilfredo Nikola was substituted for Erasmo Jago. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Aureliano Negro was substituted for Godfredo Nuñez. Aureliano Negro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Teofilo Oxarra hit a great ball. Serafin Bernal made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Serafin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Nikola in the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute Luciano Segio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
