Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frits Evenhuis started the match with the kick off. Mauro Nascimento hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teófilo Belém. MC ESPANHOL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. MC ESPANHOL's Teófilo Belém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes MC ESPANHOL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Teófilo Belém despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teófilo Belém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Evenhuis in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teófilo Belém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 22nd minute of play forced MC ESPANHOL's goalkeeper Teófilo Belém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teófilo Belém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MC ESPANHOL's Teófilo Belém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 32nd minute of play. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when MC ESPANHOL's Kostas Sourpis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the match, Kostas Sourpis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kostas Sourpis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Evenhuis in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bakos Endre during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. In the 44th minute, João Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, MC ESPANHOL's Kostas Sourpis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 72 played minutes MC ESPANHOL got a freekick which was hit by João Gomes. Antal Valentin shot from long distance in the 72nd minute, but Teófilo Belém was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Serpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Virgílio Serpa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After having played for 83 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teófilo Belém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teófilo Belém having to interfere.
