Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Fazzini in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tobías Quilempan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Tobías Quilempan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobías Quilempan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Katona Janos got a free kick in the 38th minute. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Deportes La Serena's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 46 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Fazzini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Ermegildo Fazzini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportes La Serena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Hungary booed when Club Deportes La Serena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Said Hamed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Deportes La Serena made a substitution. Remco van den Bergh replaced Salvatore Bunster. The supporters of Club Deportes La Serena booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soso Cheishvili in the 77th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportes La Serena's Soso Cheishvili. But to his dismay, Soso Cheishvili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After having played for 80 minutes, Tobías Rocuant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportes La Serena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobías Rocuant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Tobías Rocuant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tobías Quilempan made a huge save. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Garzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
