Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Xacintu Magadan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes Maraponga FAC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Osmundsen. Maraponga FAC's Flávio Cannavaro pulled a muscle in his back after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Takacs Tibor fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Takacs Tibor a yellow card for diving instead. Maraponga FAC made a substitution. Benjamin da Rocha replaced Flávio Cannavaro. In the 8th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takacs Tibor to maneuver through the defense. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Andrade having to interfere. In the 14th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Jimmy Lind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xacintu Magadan. Maraponga FAC's Mané Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 35th minute of play. Fodor Daniel was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Xacintu Magadan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xacintu Magadan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mané Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 46th minute of play. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mané Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Maraponga FAC's Darren Verlet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mané Andrade came out and tried to block the shot, but Balazs Lajos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 56th minute. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mané Andrade could save by the left post. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maraponga FAC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mané Andrade quite easily take care of the ball. Mané Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Mané Andrade in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Verlet in the 87th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bakos Endre hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Darren Verlet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Maraponga FAC had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
