Abraham Saleh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyle Cox went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Abraham Saleh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issac Dawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. England's Micah Macdonald got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, England's Kyle Cox sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abraham Saleh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, 顾奕邦 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 云南昭通猛龙联队's supporters rose to their feet, but 顾奕邦 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalid Kennedy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seth Young charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seth Young the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hisham Mowafak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. 顾奕邦 hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 39th minute of play forced 云南昭通猛龙联队's goalkeeper Abraham Saleh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Caelan Hayes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 云南昭通猛龙联队's Abraham Saleh did a great save. Petre Coja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cooper Thompson to maneuver through the defense.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hisham Mowafak made a kick off. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Coja, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With an all-out effort, England's Abraham Saleh threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Cox, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 65 minutes into the match, Hisham Mowafak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hisham Mowafak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 69th minute Hisham Mowafak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the England defense, Petre Coja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. The England fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Kennedy should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, 云南昭通猛龙联队's Hisham Mowafak got a free kick in the 77th minute. 杜宇旭 kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Micah Macdonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abraham Saleh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Xavier Gallagher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the England and the 云南昭通猛龙联队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute Petre Coja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
