In the 7th minute Trần Nghiêm-Minh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Dostal took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Teo. Nguyễn Teo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 15th play minute Nguyễn Thanh came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vavrinec Holub. 1-2. Nguyễn Teo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Rezek went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Nguyễn Thanh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 32nd minute, Denis Dostal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nguyễn Teo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Nguyễn Thanh tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Nguyễn Thanh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huế's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Thanh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Erik Jilek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Teo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

Bohumir Kohout kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Erik Jilek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nguyễn Teo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. In the 62nd minute, Czech Republic's Denis Dostal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. 66 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Thanh came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got a free kick in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bohumir Kohout during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Nghiêm-Minh in the 73rd minute of the match. Huế's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Denis Dostal scored to the left of an out of position Nguyễn Teo, making the score, 2-7. In the 78th minute Trần Nghiêm-Minh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Teo having to interfere. Nguyễn Teo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Alan Rezek sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Nguyễn Thanh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Trần Nghiêm-Minh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Trần Nghiêm-Minh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nguyễn Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dostal in the 90th minute of the match. Huế were furious when Nguyễn Duc was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 93 minutes into the game, one of Huế:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Huế manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Czech Republic to win.
