Catugi FC's Vicente Valladares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Walmir Pombal sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Reko Nybacka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Carlos Alberto Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edson Couto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 25th minute of the match. Reko Nybacka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka. Reko Nybacka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 44th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Takacs Tibor fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Takacs Tibor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Soares in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Lenaerts. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Reko Nybacka could save by the left post. When Edson Couto fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catugi FC's protests and gave Edson Couto a yellow card for diving instead. Edson Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
