Nelsinho Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Camille Baume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Nascimento having to interfere. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makan Baksø in the 74th minute of play. Guará FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Pedro Baiano in the 75th minute. The corner led to Guará FC's Ernani Pirani getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Nelsinho Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Camille Baume sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. Guará FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when David Barbier scored to the left of an out of position Nelsinho Nascimento, making the score, 2-1. After 86 minutes, Jordan Radojević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guará FC and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guará FC's Harold Willson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Nelsinho Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. France's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Guará FC had won, even though France had held more of the ball.
