Guido Alekõrs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Peppermint Candy's Bawang Balimbin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Peppermint Candy getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tommy Jaddon hit a great ball. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, one of Peppermint Candy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Frank Sachs walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Guido Alekõrs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peppermint Candy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Thilo Pollakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the match, Tommy Jaddon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Jaddon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Peppermint Candy booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thilo Pollakowski in the 58th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bawang Balimbin in the 60th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Peppermint Candy's Tommy Jaddon got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peppermint Candy's goalkeeper Guido Alekõrs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Pogi Macasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Sachs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guido Alekõrs. That made the score 2-1 in the 86 minute of play. After 92 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Jaddon, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 96 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Peppermint Candy players grew even worse after the yellow card.
