SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when SE Palestra Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, SE Palestra Itália's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Tony Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bakos Endre made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Balazs Lajos immediately put the ball in play. In the 28th minute of the game Bakos Endre made a throw-in which Vörös Henrik played forward. A collision led to SE Palestra Itália getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bruno Campon hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, SE Palestra Itália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Custódio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 39th minute of play forced SE Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Tony Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Campon. After a defensive mix-up in SE Palestra Itália's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Chaves came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when SE Palestra Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clayton Sergi was the one to do the kick off. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clayton Sergi struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE Palestra Itália. Edson Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edson Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of SE Palestra Itália:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hungary:s goal. The referee gave Hungary a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antal Valentin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves. 0-2. A collision led to SE Palestra Itália getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Adalberto Custódio hit a great ball. SE Palestra Itália's Acar Buğrahan was substituted for Flavinho Meirelles. After 66 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Custódio. In the 69th minute Clayton Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clayton Sergi took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tony Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 74th minute. Tony Chaves was a little too slow when Major Barna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-3. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after SE Palestra Itália's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After 82 minutes SE Palestra Itália's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Antal Valentin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. SE Palestra Itália's Clayton Sergi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Campon, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Tony Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony Chaves. That made the score 1-4 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SE Palestra Itália throughout the match.
