Clayton Sergi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Hungary's Balazs Lajos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Chaves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Hungary's Antal Valentin in 18 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tony Chaves guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tony Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Bruno Campon struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE Palestra Itália. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Clayton Sergi sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balazs Lajos in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Chaves saved SE Palestra Itália from getting behind. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SE Palestra Itália's goalie prevented a goal. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Clayton Sergi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Chaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Alfredão Corrêa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clayton Sergi to strike the kick off in the second half. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tony Chaves firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tony Chaves made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. SE Palestra Itália's Eriberto Scherer was substituted for Gugu Schmidt. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Sergi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Acar Buğrahan in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Clayton Sergi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Chaves having to interfere.
