The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Demartis got free with Tommy Kahn in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when João Vítor Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Malte Schiele's late challenge caught a Countdown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Schiele helped the player get up and apologised. Germany:s Tommy Kahn showed great skill when he stopped Válter Dante:s penalty. In the 23rd minute, João Vítor Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. João Vítor Barros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ulrich Stein kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. João Vítor Barros scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Dida Carioca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Valadares in the 41st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Demartis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Washington Demartis went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Vítor Barros to make the kick off. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Countdown FC's Washington Demartis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Countdown FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alfredão Sergipano hit a great ball. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Er Miner made a huge save. After having played for 63 minutes, Washington Demartis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Countdown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Demartis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernani Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Barros in the 68th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Countdown FC's João Vítor Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Vítor Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Er Miner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 75th minute of the match. Ernani Valadares might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernani Valadares ran back to his position shaking his head. Countdown FC's Er Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 86th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Stein. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Countdown FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
