Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Anestis Tzougarakis made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markos Bibis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. PAOK's Markos Lazakis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ulrich Stein in the 14 minute of the game. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aimilios Eleftheriadis in the 16th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Nasos Patakos sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Giorgos Tomaras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Anestis Tzougarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Germany's Albin Holweck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markos Bibis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasos Patakos in the 30th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Nasos Patakos put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Nasos Patakos struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAOK. In the 47th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Anestis Tzougarakis scored 4-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Markos Bibis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 58th minute of the match. When Makis Papaikonomou fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PAOK's protests and gave Makis Papaikonomou a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Tzougarakis in the 65th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Markos Bibis. Frank Sachs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. In the 75th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Janik Vogt charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Janik Vogt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. When PAOK's Stathis Kalokliros in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Markos Bibis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match Germany got a corner. PAOK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Germany's Adrian Dreifuss to fire away a dangerous shot which Markos Bibis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of PAOK booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Stathis Kalokliros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stathis Kalokliros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 92nd minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Stathis Kalokliros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stathis Kalokliros in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the PAOK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
