Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, bicho colorado's Celedonio Omero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 9th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Celedonio Omero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 12th minute of play forced bicho colorado's goalkeeper Adan Rafel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Rafel saved bicho colorado from getting behind. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Celedonio Omero scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adan Rafel was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 31stth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bicho colorado's Adan Rafel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the bicho colorado defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Rafel. The bicho colorado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Rafel should have stopped the shot. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Omero. A collision led to bicho colorado getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arnulfo Lorien hit a great ball.

Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute Celedonio Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Omero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bas Tuitert charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bas Tuitert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of bicho colorado booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Tuitert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Omero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Adan Rafel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Redondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. bicho colorado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adan Rafel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Adan Rafel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 3-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Rafel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adan Rafel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 84th minute. Epigonoi Kouches hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
