Abdelbassir Cestarolli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelbassir Cestarolli came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Cestarolli to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Abdelbassir Cestarolli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cestarolli FC's Reynaldo Cestarolli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 18th minute of play. Reynaldo Cestarolli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 22nd minute. Reynaldo Cestarolli came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Abdelbassir Cestarolli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Abdelbassir Cestarolli made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Portugal's Raul Caetano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raul Caetano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Portugal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raul Caetano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Portugal:s Wilson Amorim showed great skill when he stopped Abdelbassir Cestarolli:s penalty. 41 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's Abdelbassir Cestarolli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reynaldo Cestarolli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Pimentel made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Coutinho. Reynaldo Cestarolli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 61st minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Reynaldo Cestarolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 73rd minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cestarolli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abdelbassir Cestarolli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Abdelbassir Cestarolli made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Abdelbassir Cestarolli took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 96 minutes into the game, Cestarolli FC's Abdelbassir Cestarolli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cestarolli FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
