When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. If Angelino Elivareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes of play, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Angelino Elivareo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 2-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Baldomero Sugoi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. Nereo Erwenne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. Godfredo Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Luix. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Baldomero Sugoi sent off a good shot on target. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Sugoi in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 50th minute. Penalty! The audience was convinced that Baldomero Sugoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Angelino Elivareo made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 79th minute, Anier Colas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Colas in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Bembe in the 88th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Bembe, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Wieslaw Drzewucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Fliz got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wieslaw Drzewucki. 97 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Bembe came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ.
