After having played for 4 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 16th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Tristan in the 19th minute of play. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balazs Lajos in the 36th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 42nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Ariel Artaldo got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 60th minute of play. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hugo Orlando Gatti firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Hegedus Henrik came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hegedus Henrik couldn't finish the play. Hugo Orlando Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 69th minute. Cecilio Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Orlando Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Elivareo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes of play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Emiliano Enol made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Ramiro Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Takacs Tibor scored 2-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cecilio Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Tristan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Enol in the 95th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abuba Akotonon FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
