The referee ignored San Fernando Eagles's protests and gave Niceto Chorache a yellow card for diving instead. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bartolo Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to San Fernando Eagles getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Polo Quinteros hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Polo Quinteros in the 15th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Salvator narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Janik Vogt charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Janik Vogt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Salvator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Bartolo Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 35th minute of the match. Vlad Enceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Bartolo Salvator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. After 43 minutes of play, San Fernando Eagles's Polo Quinteros made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bartolo Salvator made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. San Fernando Eagles's Bartolo Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 56th minute of play. Victor Viator hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Enceanu in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, San Fernando Eagles's Vlad Enceanu got a free kick in the 70th minute. Polo Quinteros hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Vlad Enceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Polo Quinteros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. A hard shot 82 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Bartolo Salvator managed to make a qualified save. San Fernando Eagles's players were relieved. A collision led to San Fernando Eagles getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Niceto Chorache hit a great ball. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Salvator having to interfere. Frank Sachs's late challenge caught a San Fernando Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sachs helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. When the referee blew the final whistle, San Fernando Eagles could leave the field as winners, despite Germany having more of the ball for most of the match.
