Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Frank Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dogelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Frank Catarinense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Frank Catarinense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 31st minute. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Manúel Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Frank Catarinense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The Dogelo fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Dogelo's Frank Catarinense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Dogelo's Frank Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Frank Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Frank Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Dogelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Catarinense couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. 70 minutes into the match, Dogelo's Frank Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Nogueira in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Lewis van Dijk. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dogelo had won after a very even match.
