Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Marcu Voitiş started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mihai Cismaș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Mihai Cismaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 8th minute of play. MIT Craiova's Mihai Cismaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigore Rizescu during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Grigore Rizescu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Dupuy came free, but Mihai Cismaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Voitiş in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Frank Peletier. Robert Chapuis's late challenge caught a MIT Craiova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Chapuis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MIT Craiova booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Chapuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Rareș Bîndean sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and France's Maxime Durand didn't even have to move. In the 39th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Cismaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Bîndean to maneuver through the defense. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT Craiova the free kick. After 65 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Frank Peletier. When Remus Chilian fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIT Craiova's protests and gave Remus Chilian a yellow card for diving instead. Remus Chilian hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Mihai Cismaș made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the game, Maxence Durand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT Craiova the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of France:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MIT Craiova:s goal. Rareș Bîndean shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Foltea in the 81st minute of play. Sergiu Taşcă hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mihai Cismaș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camille Baume's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Camille Baume put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mihai Cismaș. In the 89th minute, Camille Baume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as France's Frank Peletier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihai Cismaș. That made the score 0-2 after 91 minutes of play. With his leg Mihai Cismaș managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when France's Frank Peletier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Pătrășconiu during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle sounded France left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MIT Craiova.
