Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuele Kunz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellis Hoskin, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Gabriel Martini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Garth Brough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australian Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hias Nüssli. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the game, Garth Brough recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hias Nüssli. Garth Brough showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. Australian Youth Academy's attentive Rufus Roach managed to snatch the ball when Leo Allemann made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. 27 minutes in the game, Garth Brough fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ellis Hoskin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garth Brough might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Brough ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Australian Youth Academy's zone, Samuele Kunz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Riddle came out of the goal and Samuele Kunz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hias Nüssli was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Garth Brough capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Garth Brough really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Switzerland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Garth Brough scored to the left of an out of position Hias Nüssli, making the score, 6-0. Ellis Hoskin might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ellis Hoskin ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garth Brough to strike the kick off in the second half. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 51st minute of the match. Timo Siegmund kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Garth Brough cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Hias Nüssli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Garth Brough scored 8-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hias Nüssli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ellis Hoskin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. It was beautiful to see Australian Youth Academy's Ellis Hoskin in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Switzerland! The referee gave Australian Youth Academy a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Garth Brough, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Switzerland's Hias Nüssli. 9-0. When Ellis Hoskin came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ellis Hoskin couldn't finish the play. The Australian Youth Academy fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Boyd Allan hit a great ball. Leo Allemann charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Allemann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Allemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garth Brough went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Brough in the 85th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ellis Hoskin struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Australian Youth Academy. Gabriel Martini hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Garth Brough notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Switzerland's Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Garth Brough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Garth Brough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Brough in the 96th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garth Brough struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Australian Youth Academy. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Australian Youth Academy fully deserved thier win.
