Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Desiderio Endura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Nygaard went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Desiderio Endura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. In the 7th minute, Remigio Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 12th minute of play. Humberto Bixintxo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Bertram Svenningsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Endura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Argi to maneuver through the defense. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal. Remigio Ihintza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Keld Paulsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Desiderio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjarne Kirkegaard in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Denmark booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Theodore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Endura having to interfere. Chris Nygaard spun around in front of the goal 44 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SOUTH THUNDER's goal. In the 46th minute, Lars Steen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Ihintza to strike the kick off in the second half. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Desiderio Endura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benito Argi made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luisito Eleder immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Endura saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. After 56 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Remigio Ihintza charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Ihintza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 62nd minute of the match Remigio Ihintza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Remigio Ihintza a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Remigio Ihintza got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Desiderio Endura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by SOUTH THUNDER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. Desiderio Endura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Bixintxo came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Nygaard scored 0-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Desiderio Endura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Endura was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Endura having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Endura saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. Denmark were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after SOUTH THUNDER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chris Nygaard took the corner. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Desiderio Endura in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Endura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertram Svenningsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Endura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertram Svenningsen ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura got control of the ball when Bertram Svenningsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience cheered when Bertram Svenningsen's long shot passed Desiderio Endura's right side. It was 0-5, 96 minutes into the match. Denmark played a much better game than SOUTH THUNDER and deserved their victory. The SOUTH THUNDER players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
