The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The River Super Club fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when River Super Club's Viorel Bordeianu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Martin Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 7th minute of play. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Nils-Erik Röd with Omiros Belesis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viorel Bordeianu went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viorel Bordeianu. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Filipo in the 31st minute of play. Martin Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Viorel Bordeianu from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Viorel Bordeianu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Viorel Bordeianu sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Viorel Bordeianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Super Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Bordeianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Bordeianu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, River Super Club's Viorel Bordeianu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Omiros Belesis fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Super Club's protests and gave Omiros Belesis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, one of River Super Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River Super Club. River Super Club:s Martin Cayo showed great skill when he stopped Frank Sachs:s penalty. In the 66th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Viorel Bordeianu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Super Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when River Super Club's Viorel Bordeianu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Bordeianu in the 83rd minute of the match. Viorel Bordeianu took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Filipo in the 87th minute of play. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Viorel Bordeianu sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Bordeianu in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the River Super Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
