Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vlad Enceanu started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Enceanu came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenn Skou charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenn Skou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Polo Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Enceanu in the 18th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, San Fernando Eagles's Polo Quinteros made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to San Fernando Eagles getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Polo Quinteros hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polo Quinteros in the 31st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polo Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Bartolo Salvator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. The supporters of Denmark booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Viator didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Polo Quinteros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Polo Quinteros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to San Fernando Eagles getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Victor Viator hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. When San Fernando Eagles's Vlad Enceanu in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bartolo Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Polo Quinteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Niceto Chorache with Josué Eagles as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Polo Quinteros sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 89th minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Bartolo Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, San Fernando Eagles's Niceto Chorache got a free kick in the 91st minute. A collision led to San Fernando Eagles getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Victor Viator hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Polo Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Fernando Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Polo Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chants of San Fernando Eagles echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Denmark had held the ball for most of the match.
