Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Portugal! Bruno Bastos made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Caetano Moreira. In the 9th minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apostol Sokolov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquito Rico in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Portugal booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chiquito Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Felipe Barreto put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Apostol Sokolov. Chiquito Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Chiquito Rico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Viriato Moura got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Monitor Huáscar's Milian Lopez was substituted for Johnny Nyström. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Marcelo Illanes managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 3-2 in the 49th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 61 minutes, Chiquito Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chiquito Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chiquito Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Chiquito Rico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monitor Huáscar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 77 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graciano Coutinho. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Faustino Almeida got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Chiquito Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Tom Bom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monitor Huáscar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Pimentel was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. In the 90th minute, Chiquito Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Illanes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Apostol Sokolov but with some difficulty. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monitor Huáscar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Pimentel was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias to fire away a dangerous shot which Apostol Sokolov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Monitor Huáscar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
