Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martins Palermo started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes in the game Nico Waismann did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jonas Nalder. 5 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Auer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Martins Palermo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Fecha Libre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martins Palermo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Kamiel Stessel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fecha Libre's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamiel Stessel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes of play, Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute of the match Austria got a corner. Fecha Libre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sandro Galishoff ran over to the corner to take the kick. 22 minutes into the match, Martins Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martins Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Fecha Libre booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Seidler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martins Palermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martins Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 26th minute of play. Fabio Schneider kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Martins Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martins Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to Fecha Libre getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Martins Palermo hit a great ball. If Martins Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martins Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Fecha Libre were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martins Palermo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Nico Waismann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Martins Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fecha Libre's supporters rose to their feet, but Martins Palermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Martins Palermo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Auer, 0-6. Fecha Libre made a substitution. Igli Tare replaced Martins Palermo. The Fecha Libre fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Fecha Libre's Igli Tare looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Fecha Libre's Igli Tare slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabio Auer. That made the score 0-8 after 68 minutes of play. After 72 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Emil Seidler. In the 73rd minute, Igli Tare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igli Tare had several of the Austria's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Fabio Auer as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Igli Tare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igli Tare went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Fecha Libre's Igli Tare got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nico Waismann made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jonas Nalder immediately put the ball in play. 90 minutes into the match, Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igli Tare. Igli Tare succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 92nd playminute. 95 minutes into the match, Igli Tare dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Auer, 0-13. The Austria fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fecha Libre were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
